  • 1Description

Use the black Sliding Sling Camera Strap with Side Release Tail from BosStrap to hold your camera while keeping it quickly accessible. A 5/8" quick-release buckle allows the camera to be disconnected with one hand. This strap attaches with a flat cord connector and features an included sliding tail kit that allows the camera to slide along the 64" length of the strap. The strap offers a comfortable 1.5" width, 60-lb load capacity, and only weighs 4.0 oz / 112.0 g. For strength and durability the strap is constructed of nylon seat belt webbing and metal fittings. Your BosStrap is made in the USA.

The BosStrap Sling Strap with Side Release Tail is designed specifically for DSLR cameras
The same Side Release Tail is used on the DSLR version (1" wide strap) of the BosStrap Sling Strap with Side Release Tail LT
Side Release Tail provides one-handed,fast disconnection of the strap from the camera
Side Release Tail easily works with gloved hands
Tripod socket is always available
Nothing occupying the tripod socket - camera can sit on a flat surface
BosStraps are 64" long - not including the Side Release Tail
Adjustable Side Release Tail - allows more angular adjustment to fine tune comfort
No metal parts in the Side Release Tail - no scratching the LCD and the camera body
Attaches to one (left recommended) camera strap lug - easily switch from hand-held to tripod without removing anything
No straps in the way when shooting horizontal or vertical - strap does not interfere with controls
No shoulder pad is required–nothing to constantly move back in place
Wear under a jacket or raincoat for street photography, weather protection, and theft deterrence
Comfortable, smooth, strong nylon seat belt webbing - 1-1/2" wide to distribute the camera weight
Frees both hands - camera safely remains at your side when not in use
Because camera rests at hip (pivot point on leg), there is minimal movement of camera when walking
Engineered to support over 60 pounds -10x the weight of a typical professional rig

    BosStrap BOSG5SRT reviews

Sliding Sling Camera Strap with Side Release Tail (1.5", Black) is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be better I purchased this as I wanted a sling that attached to the side of the camera instead of the bottom. The attachment seems secure. If you attach it to the right side of the camera, the tail gets in the way especially if you hold the camera vertically. If you attach to the left side, the tail is in a better position when shooting but the camera hangs at an awkward position. I suppose with enough use, you would get used to it. Another issue is that the tail is long so the actual strap is short. It makes it difficult to get the strap on and off and I have to be very careful or else it knocks my glasses off. It could also use a shoulder pad to make it a bit more comfortable. Price wise, its over priced. There are better slings available for the same price except they attach to the bottom. It all depends on what is most important to you.
