Osmo Mobile Gimbal Stabilizer for Smartphones (Black) is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 94.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Game changer - in the sun The only thing that keeps me from giving the DJI OSMO Mobile 5 stars is that is might not be calibrated perfectly for the iphone 7 plus. The balance extender bar is maxed out and the phone still leans a little to the left, but you can tweak that with some fake weight if you really want to. This thing is blowing everyone's mind. Every time I use it, someone asks me about it. I'm enjoying the better-than-HD (3.4K?) shooting ability through the app. On a sunny day, with the iphone 7 plus's new lens, this thing puts out video equal to a $5000 camera on a crazy expensive steadicam. Loving it. Bring a battery powered LED light for indoor, darker settings.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth every penny This is a great product, especially for the price. There are cheaper options out there but they are hardly worth considering next to this. Extremely high quality construction; it actually feels very professional, even though it's only for smartphones! The only issue I've had is that my iPhone 7 Plus is bordering on too big for it. It actually fits perfectly, but if it was just the tiniest bit bigger (as some other smartphones are, or if I leave mine in its case) it wouldn't balance properly and the motors wouldn't even turn on. So for those with larger phones, I would recommend trying one out in person before purchasing, just to make sure it will actually work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great, easy to carry I bought this for some run-n-gun videos I'd be shooting. It works great, super easy to use and lasts about 4 hours per battery. Your phone battery will probably die first, having the phone running a video app plus Bluetooth sucks the battery life pretty quick. The pan/tilt joystick is smooth and really helpful. Also if you're trying to be inconspicuous with filming, this Osmo is unobtrusive. It'll take any iPhone video you want to make and make it look way more professional (although obviously not film grade).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Promising The app turned my iPhone into an inferno, which was a mild bit troubling. 8 minutes and 30% battery later, I had to shut it down. Additionally, the software makes using the neat features and then getting the videos properly saved into your library, an interesting trick. Bottom line, the stabilizer is awesome, the app is no good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Serious Fun Although the DJI Mobile feels a bit flimsy, it does securely hold the iPhone in place. As a gimbal its a bit lacking in operator feel, but it does do its job. The DJI Go software for the iPhone is feature packed with plenty of cool features for both stills and motion. My personal favorite is tracking-which automatically follows a subject. The tracking feature is a bit buggy but still quite impressive. I would recommend this for both its ease of use and the features packed into the DJI software.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Issues with iPhone and Android iPhone have (OIS) which stands for Optical Image Stabilization. Because of that, it fights with the stabilizer in the OSMO which gives you a warped look depending on the motion of the OSMO. With iPhone, you CAN'T TURN THIS OFF. Which iPhone? from the 2014 iPhone 6Plus up till now. However, there is a rumor that if you download Filmic Pro, the issues goes away. The cost? $9.99 from the people at Filmic. As for the android, you can turn off the OIS which is great. I recommend also shooting using the Pro mode is you're using something like the Samsung s7. This way, the auto focus isn't driving you nuts. There are a few downsides though...The App for the Android does NOT allow motion track at this time. DJI Claims to be fixing this but it's been 30 days since their last update and nothing. Also, the is no Facebook live feature with the app. So....yeah... Hope this helps.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DOA after a week I am a big fan of the DJI OSMO and have been using one for sometime now. I bought the mobile version without hesitating. Out of the box I was impressed, it was exactly as expected. The DJI go app has many awesome features and the tracking feature was a bit clunky but seemed like a technical dream come true. One week of demos to friends and colleges and the OSMO is completely unresponsive-DOA tried the usual charge the battery call DJI service. Tech support did not try to trouble shoot they just told me to send it back for repair. Really? no trouble shooting? yea just send it back for repair if its not working.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cinematic Filming Made Easy I know, the headline sounds cheesy but that's what I love about DJI Osmo Mobile. I'm using it with my iPhone 6S and it's absolutely fantastic. I can get great cinematic shots with it. It works pretty well on portrait mode as well. It took me 1-2 days to figure out how to use it but now I'm mastering it. The panorama mode is awesome (it would be nice if it worked with the portrait mode tho..) Issues: You can't charge your phone while using it (I know... it sucks) and you can't expect the gimbal to work if you change too fast.
