I know these have custom winged eyecups as a separate accessory. My question is, do they have a matching rainguard like my Swarovski "WES" (Winged Eyecup Set) ?
The optional winged eyecups for the Leica 8x42 Noctivid Binoculars (Black) do not come with matching rain-guards.

What country are these made in?
What country are these made in?
I just purchased new (Nov. 2021) and "MADE IN PORTUGAL" is printed on the bridge. I contacted Leica customer support in the US and they said yes, the Noctivid 8x42 (and other Leica Sports Optics) is now made by Leica in Portugal. For the record, I have a 25+ year old pair of Leica binoculars made by Leica in Portugal that still work like new.

Yes. The Noctivids include Leica's Passport warranty which is valid for purchases made from authorized retailers like B&H in the USA only and claims must be also through Leica's USA repair center only. This is not an international program.

Is it best (why?) for birding than the Leica 40094 Ultravid 10 x 42 HD Plus ?
In the Ultravid HD PLUS line, for its size (smallest premium full-size bins available) and massive field of view, the 8x32 or for its brightness and again, massive field of view, the 7x42 would be the best choices. For the absolute best optics available, the Noctivid 8x42 would be the best choice. 10x is generally considered too much power for birding. If you have to have 10x42, the Noctivid would be the best choice as it has the best optics (best sharpness, contrast, resolution and color rendition) of any 10x42 on the market.
