Nice that they have these hard to find, and easy to lose, parts in stock. I ordered 4 because they are notorious for getting lost when taking them off and on. These fit and operate perfectly. Two will stay permanently on cable releases and the other 2 will get tucked away as spares just in case. My order was filled immediately and arrived in a few days. Under current circumstances I couldn't be happier with the service. Thanks!

What you need is commonly called a "Leica Nipple" - usually available on eBay. The small knurled nut surrounding the shutter button must be removed first,

Does this screw in tip need a special cable release to be used on Linhof shutters...as my Pentax cable is not able to trip the Linhof shutter?
Thew Pentax cable is a standard cable...just like any other cable. The tip screws in just fine..but the cable release simply does not grab that tightly in the shutter..or work in any predictable manner. Sometimes it clicks right..but mostly no..and in B or T mode..will not work at all. I will try the better Linhof cable soon..hopefully that will solve the problem.

Yes, the Linhof Screw-On Quick Socket Nipple will work with other cable releases other than Linhof branded ones.
