The BlackRapid FR-5 FastenR Breathe is designed to screw into a 1/4"-20 tripod mount for a camera or lens. A connection point is then created for attachment to a BlackRapid strap's ConnectR locking carabiner. The FR-5 FastenR Breathe features a large, integrated D-ring for easy use with BlackRapid straps that utilize a CR-3 or CR-4 ConnectR.

I have FR-5, but it is too big for Fujifilm X100V. It blocks the battery compartment. Do you know of a similar heavy duty anchor, but a little smaller? like 10% smaller in diameter. Thank you.

Is there anything like this to screw into the 3/8-16 threads in the spider of a tripod? The tripod is the Leofoto LM-404CL.
On my older Manfrotto tripod it has a 3/8 stud on the bottom of it. I took a long coupling nut, drilled a hole through one end of it. Then attached a slip ring from a key chain and added a carabiner. Now I can hang whatever I want to bottom of tripod. Works very well. You can come up with your own version.

Does this replace the FastenR-3? I can find no name nor model # on my BR strap and fastenR, which makes it really hard to tell if this screw mount will work.
Yes, the FR-5 is the upgraded version of the FR-3. The new coated FR-5 will fit the older style strap, but you will not be able to use the LockStar with it on the older CR-2. Will the FR-5 work with the Yeti strap?
Thank you for your inquiry. It will not work with the Yeti as the hole on the FR-5 is different and will not fit on the old carabiners.
