    Sunpak DF3600U reviews

DF3600U Flash for Canon and Nikon Cameras is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from sunny sunpak I m a semi pro photographer/weddings potraits/landscapes etc and been in this game for 20 plus years.out of curiosity I bought this flash and held my breath inicially.this unit is well built, big in contrast to others in size,i tried it on Nikons and canons for which it was made,e-ttl and I-tt and I was not disappointed.simple readouts on the back ,recycle times were quick with fresh batteries, the only qualm I have is the manual that is not properly worded in most aspects.very powerful for its class GN 118 for every day stuff and pro assignments ill recommend it hands down.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works, should have a plastic (slave) foot like the pic! I got this Friday and put it to work right away at a product shoot. As another commenter suggested, the manual is almost unintelligible - looks like a Google translation of the original Chinese version. Also, every product pic of this shows a foot, my Canon came with all the accessories, THIS DOES NOT. You only get the flash unit. That being said, I used it for nearly 7 hours yesterday at a shoot, used the optical slave feature. It worked quite well considering the price paid. Obviously not the quality of a Canon unit, but for a third or fourth one in your bag - it really worked well. The controls are easy and constant adjustments were quick. All in all, very happy with the purchase. Would recommend you spend more on a quality Canon unit for your only flash, but this is great for a second or backup. (photo before retouching)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hard to Read Manual I just received this from B&H and initially am not impressed. First and foremost, the online PDF manual that you have to print out, is the most difficult manual I've ever had to wade through...some items are absolutely unintelligible. If you're going to manufacture and market a product, spend some money on having it written properly so it's understandable. That's the first item--then I tested it with my Nikon and the results showed what looks like water spotting(uneven spots) all over each pic. I've used other flashes with this camera and have never seen this anomaly before. So before I return this item I need to consult with an expert at B&H. I would like someone to convince me I made the right purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great flash unit for the money I bought the flash for use with macro photography but it can be used for lots of other types of photography. The built in diffuser and pull out flash card are very handy features. The flash is easy to use and cycles fast and is a great improvement over an earlier flash that was cheaper but arrived dead. The Sunpak has auto zoom and both tilts and swivels. It is well made, reliable and fairly user friendly. And the instructions are clear and useful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value for the price Was not over joked with lack of printed operation manual with unit. The online download was not as clear as other flash manuals that I have had from other manufacturers. I have only done some test shots and it seems To work well with my new Canon 80D.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great flash value for the cost. Have used Sunpak flashes for years. Only question about this one regards instructions on how to program and use the slave feature. Size is in line with this style of flash. Recycle times are great. Would like more information about external power sources. (Quantum battery, etc.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I would buy this again I have not had the chance to use it fully yet. I did set it all up and play with all of the controls to familiarize myself with the device. It is a bit larger than I had expected, but not really a problem. I like the controls and it seems easy to navigate and adjust as needed. Recycle time seems very good, for my purposes anyway. I bought two of these and gave one to my daughter. I like the built in diffuser and bounce panel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I definitely would buy this product it I had to to. It's a good product and for the price definitely it's a good deal. I use it for portraits in birthday parties and weddings.
