    Kamerar KAM-OSMO-EXT reviews

Baton Extender for DJI Osmo is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kamerar Baton We do a lot of automotive shoots and thought we'd give this product a go on our latest project. We were positively surpriced how well it performed. The fit is not as snug as the original gimbal to handle connection, I'm sure the extra leverage makes it feel the slight play even worse. We used it for over 30hrs of footage on our first shoot alone and it made those low, close to the ground shots very easy and having that ground so close to the camera makes the scene look like car's really shifting. We took most of the shots at 60mph and had no problems with the Osmo or the Extender. People looking to get unique shots with their osmo this is a good investment.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Gread idea, poor QC Excellent idea and nice build quality however the camera end couldn't be secured tightly to the baton. Upon twist locking, it would still wobble a lot at the joint. RMA'd a replacement and had the same issue with it. Then I did a little online research and found others who had the same issue. If they resolve the issue I'll be back for a 3rd try. I love the concept but QC is lacking. P.S., yes I'm an experienced user... the twist lock is bad on this product at the camera end.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Idea but bad design on handle connector. I was excited and couldn't wait to get the baton extender for my Osmo! So you can only image how disappointed i was when the device would work only part of the time, and you had to hold the baton just right before that would happen. Upon looking at the bottom connector you can see what the issue is. The little circuit board for the bottom connector wasn't making sufficient contact with the Osmo handle. It looked as though the factory had sent the device with the circuit board a little loose, maybe with hopes that it would reach and complete the connection. So with a little modification i helped complete the circuit. If you take a small piece of silicon foam or some other kind of non-conductive material and place that at the edges of the circuit board it will hold the connection tight against the handle. Since doing this i haven't had any issue with the camera head loosing connection and going crazy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It is a greart product You can extend the camera head 22 inches ahead. If you attach this, you can shoot from directly above and use it as a crane. Because there is a slight gap in the connection part between DJI OSMO and Baton Extender, stabilizer grip should be used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE it. Very useful, I also have the 6ft extension cable which is better for car mounting etc, but this allows you to get far more creative shots and get some higher reach, having the 6ft extension cable i can add that to a monopod when i need even more reach. This is 2ft and its far more practical for everyday use. The caps don't stay on to well when not in use and the handle clamp can easily dent if tightened even the smallest amount to much. Other then that I think this is a excellent buy!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Arrived broken but they're getting me a replacement It arrived broken. Would only transmit info when I held the osmo camera a bit more tightly to the top of the pole with my hand. BH is replacing it, free shipping, so that's great. I'm excited to try out the second one
