Rolls RS81B Reviews

Better than my RS78B

After 23 years my Rolls RS78B bit the dust so I replaced it with this unit. Much better reception (now with a uni outdoor antenna), the RDS display is nice and there are more presets. Like very much.

Not Recomended

Purchased 3 of these units. All 3 failed in less than 12 months. When the first unit failed is when I discovered the warranty is only 90 days for what Rolls' calls Signal Source devices. Despite each unit failing in less than 12 months and this comment I found on the Rolls' web site Regardless of age we don't usually charge for repairs, a lot of people really like this. they still charged $50 - $60 dollars to fix each unit. They seemed like a nice unit but 3 strikes is enough. Gonna try a different brand next time.
