Rated 1 out of 5 by from Amended review. So, when I purchased this cage a few months back it seemed to be the only game in town. What I found was that the spring loaded system with the bars attaching the cage to the Inferno and the poor mounting points at the top and bottom left the cage feeling wobbly. I tried different screws but nothing made it feel totally secure. I also was using this with a Zacuto Z arm which never could mount quite right leaving the monitor free to loosen quickly on shoots and spin around. That was the biggest pain was not having a secure mounting option for what is supposed to protect your expensive Shogun Inferno monitor. Also, the tiny screws used in securing the SSD protection rod and to lock down the HDMI cables are garbage. They are hard to maneuver and can easily fall out when loosening...Poor design. I recently got another brand monitor cage which I absolutely love and locks down very tight. For the price, this was a bad purchase for me that I regret not having good information about. If I could return it..I would.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just buy it....Works great, light weight, and functional! First off, I am using this with the new Sony FS7 Mk 2, The Shogun Inferno was more for a multi function monitor that was also bright enough. At 1500 nits and being able to record...it was a no brainer for me at least. The first thing I wanted to do was protect and have great mounting options for the Shogun Inferno. This was by all accounts the only game in town for a cage...I couldn't seem to find anything else to compare it to so I just bought it. It's fairly light weight, assembles very quickly and there are of course different mounting points but what i really like are the little things like there is a fold over tightening bar to cover the SSD. What I don't like is that with some of these parts the screws can come out if you're not careful...then you will be looking for buying new ones. there is also an HDMI guard for your cables...if I used HDMI, I would probably appreciate this more. Overall, it's a no brainer purchase, just buy it and be happy knowing your gear is protected on shoots.
