Stay connected on the go with the Huawei Honor 8 64GB Smartphone in Pearl White. This 4G LTE smartphone is equipped with 4GB of RAM and an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin chipset that utilizes two quad-core processors, one running at 2.3 GHz and the other at 1.8 GHz, along with an always-on i5 co-processor. It comes equipped with 64GB of storage, which can be extended by up to 128GB with a microSD card. A reversible USB Type-C connector can be used for high-speed data transfer and charging.

The Honor 8 houses a 5.2" IPS LCD touchscreen with 1920 x 1080 resolution for full support of FHD content. A front-facing 8MP f/2.4 camera is equipped with flash for low-light self-portraits. At the rear, a pair of 12MP f/2.2 cameras with dual-tone flash capture extra detail for your photos and videos and a fingerprint reader lets you unlock your device quickly and securely.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow
The Android operating system integrates heavily with Google's services. Using the card-based Google Now, Android quickly surfaces information for you whenever you need it, powered by the same Knowledge Engine that runs Google's web search. It's a personalized and customizable OS, allowing you to add your favorite apps or widgets to your homescreen. You can even download new themes using the Google Play Store, which offers access to more than one million apps, games, books, music, movies, and more. Android 6.0 Marshmallow overhauls permissions, allowing you to have finer control over what your applications have access to. It also marks the debut of Now on Tap, a context-sensitive update to Google Now that checks your current screen for keywords and then searches for them automatically. Other performance and security enhancements are included as well.
EMUI 5.0
Huawei's EMUI 5.0 Android skin lets you customize your device with shortcuts, resource monitoring, and accidental tap protection.

Huawei Honor 8 reviews

Honor 8 64GB Smartphone (Unlocked, Pearl White) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 36.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from great build quality, but trying to hard to be ios I am coming from a 2013 moto X. It is nice to have something with a bigger battery and sd slot. My main issues with it is the Huawei's EMUI. as it just feels like it's trying to be too much like apple. I'm annoyed that all my apps needs to be on my home screen and not just stored away in a separate folder. The finger print is pretty cool, but it's odd how you can't make going to the home screen an option for pressing the button. I do prefer a stock version of android, but this does fine for my needs. Just wish that it felt closer to stock android than ios

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was pleasantly surprised Being a long-time iPhone user I had this impression about sluggish Android UI, but was pleasantly surprised. The UI is so fast and smooth it's on par with iPhone, no glitches or freezes whatsoever and I've been using this phone daily for 2 weeks already. What I liked about this phone: 1. Excellent UI, very fast and smooth. 2. Excellent screen, bright and crisp. 3. Fingerprint reader is top-notch, very fast and unlocks in 99% of cases from first attempt. 4. Battery life is very good, can make 2 days solid with my usage. 5. Design and build quality is very good. Stuff I didn't like: 1. Ring sound is not very loud. I needed to setup a piercing melody in order to hear it ringing in the downtown. 2. I cannot feel the vibration unless the phone is firmly pressed to my thigh or chest (or maybe I am too thick-skinned lol) Some minor observations: 1. When setting up the fingerprint reader, make sure to place the finger exactly how you would place it during normal usage. In real life my forefinger touches it at an angle (rotated a bit) so I had to re-do the fingerprint setup to make it recognize my fingers from all angles. 2. Make sure you know the size of the phone before buying it. After iPhone 5s the screen is rather large, reaching top-left corner is not always comfortable. 3. Phone is slippery!! Buy a case! Overall, it's a very good phone, nice design, build quality, UI, performance, battery life is top-notch. Highly recommend for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well built, stylish and fast. I've been using this for about 2 weeks. Well built, easy to handle, gorgeous looking phone. Kind of slippery so you want to get a case. Really, only problem I had was bluetooth wouldn't connect to my car. Found an app in the Play Store and all is good. Very responsive, fast unlocking with the fingerprint scanner. Can't believe this was less than $400.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Honor 8 Review I have been using an Honor 8 Smartphone as my main phone since ditching my iPhone. The switch from IOS to Android has its learning curve but not difficult. I love the aesthetics of the phone and the features are top notch for the price point. The Battery life gives me a full days use so i am contented. The Finger Print Scanner is very sharp and double 13 mp cameras on the rear gives great pics. Image stabilization is missing for videos but overall the Honor 8 its worth a try.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loved early, but... I thought this would be my go to phone when I bought it...and than it had an update. The camera lost half of the cool modes (HDR, Tail Lights, Light Graffiti, etc...) with no explanation how to get them back. I even did a reset and nothing. Its cheaply made and not a great phone. I have a Straight Talk sim and it constantly drops calls and shows no service. I switch the sim back to an IPhone 5C, and this was not the case ruling out the sim. If I were you, pass on this model. I will be trying to sell it. Disappointing...
