Keepin it CanonLost my lens cap. Finally replaced the mia cap. So glad I did. Now I don't have to worry about keeping my lens attached to my camera to protect it, this does the job.

The real deal. Not much to say on this - original part - does exactly what it is designed to do! Great to have extra caps like this around as you switch lenses!

Proper FitCanon original equipment is over-priced, but get over it if you use your photographic gear in business. I have many lenses and lens mount converters from many manufacturers. Some third party rear caps just don't fit properly. When one is loose I replace it with an original. Having a loose fitting rear cap isn't much better than having none at all. You tend to think the lens is protected when it is not, resulting in dust & lint which finds its way onto the sensor.

Peace of mind for a couple bucksI've adapted my Zeiss primes from Nikon to Canon mount using the Bower adapter - shooting 5D through Zeiss is pure heaven - and being able to easily get hold of these genuine Canon rear caps for when I'm changing between lenses - SO CHEAPLY - gives me peace of mind: I'm always protecting the inner lens and sensor from dust as I make quick-changes on the fly and the whole thing cost me under $20 to do all three lenses.

Rear Lens CapThe rear lens cap is a necessity in the camera bag. My Canon Rebel came with one when I bought it. I went outside to take some photos and lost it near the lake at my home. Devils Lake got a great taste of plastic that day. I was worried about something happening to my camera until I received the rear lens cap. Definitely a product that photographers should have two of so this incident doesn't happen to them.

Works well, great as a spare, keeps the dust out for storageI for some reason thought that these would fit on the camera body to cover the front of the camera, but I should have done more research. It is the PERFECT replacement caps for your E series lenses though, since they are manufactured by Canon. I purchased two since they weren't very expensive. They will come in handy since I almost lost one of my original ones while on vacation.

I would definitely buy again grom B&HThe lens cap were a replacemnt for caps I lost. I needed them quickly as I was heading to a Jazz festival in Ohio a few days out. I needed to change my delivery address and the customer service guy came through like a charm. when I arrived in Columbus, Ohio my covers were waiting for me. Great selection, great service, and of course, great pricing.
