I love these knobs. I could argue that they should be included in the mount as standard, but that's the world we live in today and it would raise the price point of the mount and then people would be less inclined to buy it. These knobs make moving the mount on/off the tripod SO much easier. Do yourself a favor if you're considering these and just buy them.
These should come as standard equipment, but since they don't, get em. Unless your mount is located on a pier in an observatory you need these, it really saves looking for the right hex wrench when you need it.
