With a build volume of 4.7 x 4.7 x 4.7", the UP mini 2 3D Printer from Tiertime improves up on the first generation UP mini with upgraded features related to usability, portability, and connectivity. It features a layer resolution of 150-400 microns; Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) printing technology; a 4" LCD multi-touch display; uses ABS, ABS+, and PLA filaments; and is equipped with a single extruder nozzle that features a quick change mechanism. Users may print their compatible STL, UP3, and UPP files in an enclosed print chamber with a heated print bed via USB or Wi-Fi printing capabilities, which also affords compatibility with mobile apps.
The UP mini 2 3D Printer comes bundled with UP software that assists with automatic nozzle height detection and print bed leveling. The unit itself is built using a metal frame with a plastic case. An integrated aluminum handle makes the UP mini 2 easy to carry around, while the filament spools are stored in an external housing that contains a built-in toolbox. It is compatible with Windows 10, 8, 7, XP, and Mac OS, and is powered using in included 100-240 VAC power adapter that runs at 50-60 Hz. Also included is a spool and tool holder, a calibration card, three 50g test packs, protective gloves, a scraper, a USB cable, 2.0 & 2.5mm hex keys, a pair of pliers, ABS filament, a nozzle wrench, perforated print board, UP flex print board, and a print nozzle head.
