Record SD, HD, or 4K footage via HDMI or SDI with the Blackmagic Design DeckLink Mini Recorder 4K. Whether recording for broadcast or backing up older media to newer, more robust formats for current projects, the Decklink Mini Recorder 4K has you covered. The input panel holds a single SD/HD/3G/6G-SDI input and an HDMI 2.0 input, both capable of DCI and UHD 4K resolutions.

Consumer and professional video codecs are supported, including H.264, Apple ProRes, AVC-Intra, and more, allowing full-resolution input of nearly any project. Wide software support including Blackmagic Design's own DaVinci Resolve and Fusion in addition to other popular platforms such as Apple's Final Cut Pro X, Avid's Media Composer, and Adobe's Premiere and After Effects CC, allows for the same hardware to be used with changing workflows over time.

The card itself requires an open PCI-Express slot conforming to at least PCI-E 2.0 x4 specifications. PCI-E x8 and x16 slots in 2.0 and 3.0 variants can also be used. A full-height bracket comes pre-installed, and a low-profile bracket is included for installation in a small form-factor PC or an external chassis.

DeckLink Mini Recorder 4K is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4k capture is great I picked up this card to replace my Elgato HD60 S for capturing live stream and studio recordings. I wanted to have an affordable capture device that can do 1080p live streams and also 4k captures, and this fits the bill. Very no-nonsense and hardly any work to get it installed and up and running. Wirecast saw it immediately and works perfectly with it. The Blackmagic Media Express capture software works great for capturing 4k/30fps streams off my LUMIX G7 camera too. When I change the output on the camera the software auto detects the change, which is a nice feature. All in all this is a great piece of hardware, especially for the price. I definitely recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well I'm usually not a huge fan of black magic products but I'm certainly happy with this. I'm able to capture 1080p/60 and push back out through my media server with so little delay I would be comfortable using it for imag applications. I wish it auto detected format instead of forcing me to use the BM application, which does tell you what format the card is receiving but doesn't switch automatically. I also wish I could capture 4K at 60hz but for the price I really can't complain. I'll likely be adding a couple more of these to this system. Very satisfied overall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like the product Installed it in a custom build windows 10 pro machine. After installing the drivers showed up as a Blackmagic device in OBS. Have captured both 720P and 1080P HDMI from a Canon HF G30 camera without issue. Tried a poor HDMI 15' cable (cable worked at 720P but not at 1080P with a Samsung TV) from the Canon to the Decklink 4K and worked ok at 1080P. Seems to have better signal sensitivity than the Samsung TV. The quality seems to be ok but don't have anything to compare with. Only had it a couple of weeks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as well as our previous BMD h.264 Pro Recorder It appeared that our 4 year old pro recorder failed. As we no longer need analog inputs, we decided to try the DeckLink Mini Recorder 4K. Easy install and easy setup. I had one of our volunteers install the board and I was able to set it up remotely using TeamViewer. Livestream immediately recognized the unit and I was able to adjust the settings remotely and verify that it was working.
