    FLIR 72001-0101 reviews

C2 Compact Thermal Imaging System is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from sorta way cool I have wanted a thermal imaging camera for years. This is pretty cool. Cell phone size fits in a pocket or tool box easily, I recommend a case for it tho. I'm still learning how to use it, but already it has proven useful and effective. However, after the novelty wore off and I needed to use this thing for work, uglyness raised its head. I'm disappointed in the web site to get the download to transfer my pictures to my desktop so that I can send them. Nothing happens. Nothing. I left the website up all night thinking that time might make things happen. I contacted the Flir via their website as printed on the 20 language instruction manual and have heard nothing back from them. But I'm sure its just a small glitch and will try again. As a stop gap, I shot the image with my cell phone and emailed that. C'mon! This is 2017 and there's really no reason for that. Like I said, a small glitch, I think. Having said all that, this thing is really awesome for the price. It really is a TIC and not a digitized version or cell phone APP that hopes to fool you into thinking it's a real TIC. Recommend it? Yes, and I have. Several times. One guy is looking to get one himself. Look, got a house? Get one of these. Go outside at night and look at your house and you will see where your heating and cooling dollars are going. Sensitive? Put your hand on a table , count to 5 and take a look. You'll see your hand print. Looking for your dog in the back yard on a pitch black night? Use this and he'll show up instantly. Same with your rebellious kids playing hide and seek. It's a work tool that is a fun toy too. And educational for all ages. Take a look at your furnace, water heater, oven, stove, Tv etc. It's an eye opener. Get one. Oh, yeah. it mixes the white light image with the infrared image to help you discern what you are seeing. there is an option to separate them and view both.
