- Aperture Range: f/1.4 to 16
- Two Low Dispersion Elements
- One Aspherical Element
Sigma looked to create a peak portrait prime with the 85mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens, and they delivered an optic with high performance, a large f/1.4 aperture, and a variety of technologies. Available here with a Canon EF mount, this lens offers a super-fast f/1.4 aperture that is great for getting images with an exceptionally shallow depth of field and smooth bokeh. It also uses two SLD elements, one anomalous partial dispersion/high-refractive index element, and one aspherical element that minimize aberrations and ensures a crisp, clear image. A Super Multi-Layer coating helps by suppressing flare and ghosting.

The Sigma Art 85mm f1.4 DG HSM that I have, has (I believe) a course thread. Does anyone know of a good adapter that can convert the course thread to standard?
Thanks Kirk. For anyone else interested.
After further research I can confirm this lens DOES indeed have an 86mm filter thread with a 1mm pitch, and course thread to standard thread adapters/ couplers apprently just do not exist. Which is a problem for people like me who are using it for video purposes.
So in order to attach a matte box adapter ring to this lens I have contacted Smallrig/ DreamRig to custom make it for this lens which should be available to others in the same situation as I am.

question
Does this lens fit on the canon t6s?
Yes. Since the T6S is a crop sensor camera, this lens would give you the field of view comparable to a 135mm lens on a full-frame camera.
