I'm using it to connect two 50ft HDMI cables together, and for my setup it doesn't even need external power. Very convenient.

Used to run a 40' hdmi line that was dropping out. This solved the problem and now the projector will pick up hdmi input. Absolutely no loss of signal at all.

The manual says to put this repeater between two 30' cable segments. Can these repeaters be chained? E.g. 3 x 30' segments?
Asked by: Karl
Daisy chaining multiple sections of the Kramer UHD 4K HDR HDMI 2.0 Extender would not be recommended due to the degradation of signal. If you are needing longer distances, an Ethernet based transmission would be recommended such as the Kramer 4K HDR HDMI Compact PoC Transmitter over Long-Reach DGKat 2.0, BH #KRPT871XR, which would allow for 4K60 transmission up to 200' over Cat 6 Ethernet cable.
