This item is very poorly made, slides jam. More importantly, The light is both dim, and has a distinct orange tint. It is very difficult to see slides. Also, there is no option to run on batteries, it only has a long extension cord, with no on/off switch. I thought I was paying more for a quality unit, but it would be overpriced at a quarter of what I paid.
