The PRO FADER Touch-Sensitive Motorized 100mm Fader with 200mm Cable from Midas, available here as a set of five, is designed for use in the input and output fader bays of Midas Pro Series digital consoles and control centers. It can also be used as a replacement for industry-standard parts such as Penny & Giles PGFM3200, Alps K-Fader, and other similar 100mm motorized faders.
The PRO FADER with 200mm cable features a high-precision 100mm travel track with a 10-kilohm linear law, ideally suited to servo control applications. The integrated touch-sensing track and conductive T-Bar allow the implementation of automatic channel selection in software, and also enable detection of when the fader is being held so that the motor is not driven. The fader mounts on console fascia panels via its two M3 threaded pillars that are on 120mm mounting centers. The built-in 200mm cable provides connections for the 10-kilohm resistive track, the touch sensing track, and the motor.
