Telrad upgraded their standard shield and made the Reflex Sight Dew Shield+ to help slow or prevent dew condensation, dirt, and dust from accumulating on the sight's window while also providing more viewing options. A mirror is integrated into the inside of the shield housing that allows you to set the housing at various angles when not covering the window to make it more comfortable to use the sight when installed on reflectors, refractors and SCT's that are aimed at or near the zenith. It installs using existing screws so no permanent modifications are required for its installation and use.

Difficult to use but it does give more options for looking straight down into the Telrad.
Great Telrad add-on for high-angle view

This is a valuable add-on for when sighting telescope object towards it's higher angle views (zenith). It eliminates having to squat down behind the scope and cranking your neck to ID the target. MUCH easier to just flip up the mirror and look 90' into the upward focused telrad. I'm in Colorado so I don't care about dew. I only bought it for the viewing angle advantage and it's perfect for that job.
