So worth having if you have many radios.

I bought this cable when we switched to the nicely priced and rugged BizTalk radios about a year ago. I wanted to set up the radios to use something other than default channels as we often have construction crews and such coming into our area and the language they use is not suited for our customers to hear (lol). I also disabled all the channels but the one we use. So if you accidently hit the knob and chose the wrong channel, it would make a annoying tone, letting you know you were on the wrong channel. The learning curve to program the radio isn't bad. The cord worked great. We just got 6 more radios today. I had my saved freq file, so I had all the radios programmed within minutes. A must have addition in my opinion.
Did not like the feel of the unit when plugged in.

Had a chance to buy ,at a good price, a business radio to add to the ones that we use at work. Figured this covered the frequencies that we used. Found out to change the frequencies I need this cable. This one plugged right in, but did not feel like it locked in. I held it in place when I checked the frequencies.
