ARRI Top Handle Overview

The ARRI CCH-1 Center Camera Handle is a sturdy carrying handle featuring multiple 3/8"-16 threaded holes for attaching accessories. Designed for use with select ALEXA cameras (listed below), it attaches to the top of the camera via three screws.

Note:
The CCH-1 handle may be used with the BAT-G battery adapter attached, but it will not work with the BAT-V battery adapter, nor when any on-board battery is mounted to the top of the camera.

Using this to carry a Sigma fp cage setup rigged with a 5 SmallHD monitor and you couldn't ask for a more solid handle.

Does the CTH-1 have locating pins either side of the 3/8 screw?

The ARRI CTH-1 Cage Top Handle does not have ARRI anti-twist locating pins.

Is it possible to adjust the perpendicular part that goes from handle to cage/rig? Can that part be moved so that the handle becomes an "L" shape?

Does this top plate work with MAP2 or MAP1? I know this is not made for it, but just curious if they fit.

Yes, ARRI CTH-1 Cage Top Handle is compatible with ARRI MAP-2 Adapter Plate and ARRI MAP-. However, the ARRI CCH-2 Center Camera Handle has a more solid connection with the plates.

works in Sony FS7?

The Arri handle would not work with the Sony FS7. However, The following two parts would work. BH #WO193900 and this handle BH #SMHTN2362 and Nato Rail BH #WO151300
