The NS Micro Universal Tuner from Planet Waves offers a fast, accurate tuning experience with an expanded calibration range, visual metronome mode, and clip-on mount that provides quick and easy operation that is well suited not only for guitar or bass, but any string instrument including mandolins, ukuleles, banjos, and more. The unit utilizes a highly sensitive piezo transducer and easy-to-read, tri-color, backlit display to provide smooth and accurate tuning in noisy, dim, or well-lit environments. The micro design and dual-swivel clip-on mount allows limitless viewing angles and quick application and removal on any instrument, while the extendable arm provides clear unobstructed views of the screen.
The Micro Universal Tuner is powered by an included CR2032 lithium coin-cell battery and includes an auto-off function, which helps prolong battery life. The tuner offers a wide calibration range of 410 to 480 Hz, while the visual metronome helps the player keep accurate time. All NS Series tuners were created by famed product designer Ned Steinberger in collaboration with Jim D'Addario and Planet Waves.
