D'Addario PW-CT-9V Reviews

Extremely disappointing first experience with B&H.

Order arrived in questionable condition due to it being poorly packed by B&H. The power supply had broken out of its box, came free from the inner bag liner, and was received loose in the bottom of a bubble mailer, with the original box completely crushed. The product I purchased the power supply for is on indefinite backorder. Now I have no ability to determine if this power supply is even functional. I will be cancelling the remainder of my order. Extremely disappointing first experience with B&H.

Everything was great!

Looked all over the for the correct adapter for my Zoom 3030 and Zoom GPX-707 and found it at B & H. Price was so much less expensive than others so, rather than just buy 1, I purchased 2, 1 for each device. Now I can put 1 in each device case so, I don't have to separate and look for it when I need it. Now when I look for associated things, I need I check B & H to see if they have it first for a price check.

Is this power adapter the correct one for my Marshall distortion foot pedal?
Asked by: Steven
What model pedal do you have? This will power a pedal needing 9V DC and less than 500 mA of input power with a negative tip/center positive polarity. This will work with a lot of different pedals, but not all. You'll want to check the specs to be sure. For further assistance please contact us at [email protected] or call us at 1-800-606-6969.

Will this work with my Zoom 3030 and my Zoom GFX-707 effects pedals?
Asked by: Ps
Yes, the Planet Waves PW-CT-9V Regulated AC-DC 9V Power Adapter is compatible for use with the Zoom Player 3030 Multi-effects Processor and the Zoom GFX-707 Guitar Effects Processor Pedals. The PW-CT-9V has the same power rating as the Zoom AD-16 9V Power Supply Adapter For Zoom Effects Pedals (B&H # ZOAD16D) which is designed specifically for use with Zoom effects pedals, including the 3030 and GFX-707. Both power supplies are rated at 9V, 500mA.

Is this the correct power adapter for my Marshall distortion foot pedal?
Asked by: Steven
It would be helpful to know which model your Marshall distortion pedal is so we can check the power requirements to confirm whether this adapter is compatible. The Planet Waves adapter is for effects pedals that use a 9V power supply with a 2.1mm negative tip barrel plug and require a maximum of 500mA.
