We need to run new cable for this installation (remote camera). Will this work with Cat7 cable?
Asked by: Izabella
i tried using a 100' cat7 cable with no luck. I didn't have any shorter cat7 cables to try. The longest cat6 cable I got this to work with was 75'. It could be the quality of the cables I tried, not sure.

Technically, it should work, however, it can cause issues depending on the content being displayed and the type of adapter used. Protected content requires compliant adapters. Additionally, anytime more adapters are added there is more possibility of issues.
