The plain steel strings and hexagonal cores are made with the company's proprietary New York-manufactured, break-resistant, high-carbon steel wire, which provides increased strength and pitch stability. The 80/20 bronze wrap wire produces a bright sound with improved intonation and deep, projecting bottom end. The EXP77 set features loop ends for a universal fit.
