Technical Pro WMU99 Reviews

The Range is TERRIBLE. Claimed 150'. Actual 20-25'

It works if you don't move away from the receiver. I bought one, and before checking the range, told a friend to buy one. With no obstructions in the way, a reliable range of about 20'-25'. Tested on both units. The CLAIMED 150' is a fever dream. I really like B&H. I don't know how they can continue to sell this product.

Buen sonido

Can this mic be conected to a JBL xtreme 2 speaker?
Asked by: Antonia
The Xtreme 2 does not have an input for a microphone and was not designed to be used with a mic. The USB port is for charging only and the wired 1/8" (3.5mm) aux input is not for use with a microphone. However, you could work around these limitations and connect the mic to a computer, then use the computer's Bluetooth to send the audio output from the computer to the Xtreme 2, or use the computer's headphone output to connect to the Xtreme 2's wired 1/8" (3.5mm) aux input.

can you use two mics as in stereo or are they all ...

can you use two mics as in stereo or are they all the same frequency and can only use one at a time???
Asked by: Stanley
Not sure what you mean by stereo use. The technical Pro website says they are available in 5 different frequencies so should be able to use multiples simultaneously. I am not sure if B&H carries the different frequencies. The end cap colour should indicate the different frequencies.

Can this mic connect directly to an iPhone? I need a bluetooth mic for interview video's I want to do on my iPhone.
Asked by: Juan
This mic is not advertised as working with iOS devices, but if you get an Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter, B&H # APMLUCADP, you can connect the USB receiver to an iPhone. This is A UHF system, Bluetooth is generally not used for wireless mics's of this type, so you do have to plug a receiver into your iPhone.

Can this be used to talk into during videocalls? ...

Can this be used to talk into during videocalls? Basically, can I use it instead of my webcam microphone to talk to people over videochat more clearly.. Will it send the audio through the computer directly?
Asked by: Cannzana
Yes, this can be used with video calls on a computer. For this to work, you would need either a dedicated 1/8'' mic input on your computer, or a combined mic/headphone headset port. If you have a headset port on the computer, then you would need this adapter to allow for an audio connection from the receiver BH #STMUYHSMFF. If your computer does not have a mic in or headset port, then you would need an adapter such as this BH #AUATR2XUSB.
