Excellent flashlight and perfect for walking our Golden Retriever at night. Low beam is great for saving the battery yet bright enough to see clearly ahead. For me it is a worthwhile purchase.

I just dont know how you can get a better flashlight for even twice the price. This light floods the attic when I am up there working. That does come at the cost of only 2-3 hours of run time on new batteries but you cant get around that. The aluminum casing gets a little warm after a while because of the intensity of the light but again, that is the result of the extremely bright light it produces so I'm happy to live with it. This is my 3rd one I have bought. The first one lasted over 5 years before the over-use finally got to it.

I purchased a Pelican 2360 a year + ago and now works intermittentlyly. The batteries are new and the bulb appears to be working fine. I believe the problem is the on/off switch. I do not have the original packing or sales receipt Can I return it for an exchange?Thank you, Stve Dodge

Does this light include the lanyard as shown in picture 2? Is there a loop for attaching a lanyard?

intrinsic safety defined: Intrinsically safe equipment and wiring shall not be capable of releasing sufficient electrical or thermal energy under normal or abnormal conditions to cause ignition of a flammable or combustible atmospheric mixture in its most easily ignitable concentration.So, based on the definition and the 1+ yr of product usage, I am going to say YES!
