The 234RC is recommended with this tripod, but is there something with a bigger load capacity? Sony A7III with Sony FE 100-400mm GM. It says weight of 5.5 pounds okay, and this combination is 4.5 pounds - makes me a tad nervous.
Try the Manfrotto 393. I use that head with an older Manfrotto aluminum monopod to support a Sigma 150-600 Sport lens and a Canon 7D body. It feels solid although that lens and that head feel more at home on a sturdy tripod. I also use the 234RC head on the monopod and the Canon 100-400 and it works beautifully.

Can the foot be unscrewed from the bottom leg section and is the screw 3/8 in thread?
In the Manfrotto MPMXPROA4US Aluminum XPRO Monopod+, the foot can be unscrewed from the bottom leg section and the screw is not a 3/8 in thread. There isn't a screw in spike available for this monopod but you can get a replacement rubber foot.

How easily do the sections expand? Am looking for
How easily do the sections expand? Am looking for one that expands especially quickly or easily. I use a Wimberley WH-100 And Benro SupeDupa.
The sections on the Manfrotto MPMXPROA4US Aluminum XPRO Monopod+ are very easy to expand, as the flip lock design is a much quicker release system when compared to a twist locking system seen on the Benro MSD46C SupaDupa Carbon Fiber Monopod (BH #BEMSD46C).
