Is this an in-between adapter that connects ...
Is this an in-between adapter that connects lens-to-camera like that of a Metabones (or similar) adapter? Or does this replace the PL mount on the lens itself?

Does the E-mount adapter effect the focal length ...
Does the E-mount adapter effect the focal length of the lens? I've primarily used the Wooden Camera PL adapter with the EZ2 on the Sony FX9 in the full 6K scan. Recently I used an EZ2 with the E-mount adapter on the same setup and the image seemed noticeably cropped.
no it does NOT, this is just a flange (FFD) matching adapter to allow the lens to mount, there are no optics in this adapter and it will and does not affect the lens focal length or optical performance
