Stay connected on the go with the Huawei Honor 8 32GB Smartphone in Sapphire Blue. This 4G LTE smartphone is equipped with 4GB of RAM and an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin chipset that utilizes two quad-core processors, one running at 2.3 GHz and the other at 1.8 GHz, along with an always-on i5 co-processor. It comes equipped with 32GB of storage, which can be extended by up to 128GB with a microSD card. A reversible USB Type-C connector can be used for high-speed data transfer and charging.

The Honor 8 houses a 5.2" IPS LCD touchscreen with 1920 x 1080 resolution for full support of FHD content. A front-facing 8MP f/2.4 camera is equipped with flash for low-light self-portraits. At the rear, a pair of 12MP f/2.2 cameras with dual-tone flash capture extra detail for your photos and videos and a fingerprint reader lets you unlock your device quickly and securely.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow
The Android operating system integrates heavily with Google's services. Using the card-based Google Now, Android quickly surfaces information for you whenever you need it, powered by the same Knowledge Engine that runs Google's web search. It's a personalized and customizable OS, allowing you to add your favorite apps or widgets to your homescreen. You can even download new themes using the Google Play Store, which offers access to more than one million apps, games, books, music, movies, and more. Android 6.0 Marshmallow overhauls permissions, allowing you to have finer control over what your applications have access to. It also marks the debut of Now on Tap, a context-sensitive update to Google Now that checks your current screen for keywords and then searches for them automatically. Other performance and security enhancements are included as well.
EMUI 5.0
Huawei's EMUI 5.0 Android skin lets you customize your device with shortcuts, resource monitoring, and accidental tap protection.

Huawei Honor 8 reviews

Honor 8 32GB Smartphone (Unlocked, Sapphire Blue) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 145.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Found my new favorite phone. This phone is AMAZING. No reviews do it justice. The build quality, the feel, the system. Everything is super smooth, customizable & simple. The camera, despite being only 12 megapixels, has incredible detail & focus. The front facing camera, 8 megapixels, is just as amazing. The phone is not too big, but it's not small either. It fits comfortably in your hand no matter what way you're holding it. However, & I can NOT stress this enough, BUY A CASE. The glass body is incredible to look at. But it is super slippery. It WILL fall out of your pocket. Save the trouble of a broken screen & buy a case. Also, button placement is awesome. Plus for the fingerprint scanner & lock button.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reasonable for the price you pay This is in my pocket for about 2 weeks now. So far all works good and looks good for the price you pay for it. Pros : * Decent battery life. Casual use goes for about 2 days for me. * Nice camera * Woks fast. At least with 100+ apps installed on it so far. * Fast charging works fast * Huawei covers for 3 months at least for broken glass. Not sure about customer care experience though Cons : * Some basic flaws on software side. You can see people complaining in forums about it. Whether it affects you or not - depends on your usage * Sim tray would show as Dual slot, actually its not a Dual Sim phone in US.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful! Bought this phone for BF (along with bonuses!), and have no regrets over it whatsoever. It is the first phone I intend to go in and learn about its full potential. Never focused on the camera before (no pun intended), but it has taken some really nice photos with virtually no effort on my part. Sound quality is excellent (imho). Seems to be a speedy little thing; haven't experienced any hesitations or thoughtful moments. It does seem to have lots of Google apps preinstalled, but nothing I haven't seen before. It is nice that they are already grouped in their own folder. Yessir, plenty to explore; well worth the money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just Right Size, Solid All-around Performance I have been using the phone for about a week now and so far everything is great. When I activated it the upgrade to EMUI 5.0 and Nougat downloaded immediately so that was nice. High quality look and feel, excellent screen, smooth performance, fast fingerprint unlocking, solid battery life (I am a fairly light user but I'm getting two days per charge), effective quick charging. I have only made limited use of the camera so far but it works well. I especially like the 5.2 screen size that for me is just right and avoids the somewhat unwieldy size of competing models with larger screens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best phone ever! Well I've been looking at buying a new phone for a long time and wanted to find something to replace my HTC One. Friends of mine recommended the Huawei. It's a very sexy phone. Has an amazing lightning fast processor and incredible Leica camera the take brilliant photos. On top of that it also has NFC so you can use it as a wallet. It's currently running Android 7. This is the tweaked version of the Huawei P9 in Europe. If you're looking for an awesome camera, phone, wallet, don't look further. If you're looking for a great price and customer service, get it from B&H.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's An Honor To Own This Phone I have been using smartphones ever since Microsoft first introduced one in 2000. That phone was made by HTC. That phone soon had an application that stored and played audible books. I used that phone walking about 2 miles each way to work and back. The phone was big and difficult to use, but it worked. Since then I have had a string of phones ranging from Microsoft phones with pull out keyboards to the original Android G1. After the G1 I had a series of Samsung Galaxy phones and then a Huawei Mate 2 in 2014. On each of these I used many applications, including the Audible application for my books. When I saw the specification on the Honor 8, I decided to get one ASAP. I liked the fingerprint reader and how I could launch the Audible app by clicking the same fingerprint reader pad. That works so well, I love the phone. The camera is also a real plus and the battery live is great lasting all day and only depleting the battery level to 50% at bedtime. Also, the SD card 128 max capacity is really good as well. Having that much local storage is great for video. This is very fast and classy phone for a very reasonable price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from My Note 7 replacement It's not an awful phone nor is it a phenomenal, but it's a good replacement for the note 7. The screen size is smaller than I would like it to be, but it's a sacrifice I chose when purchasing this device. Cosmetically it is very beautiful and It has some great features that you can't deny. It rarely lags, The screen recording feature is awesome, The LCD screen is alright, but a noticeable downgrade and that's the only knock I truly have about the phone. The customization on the phone is fantastic. The back button can be used for 3 different functions. (My set up 1 click - Flash light. 2 clicks - The weather 3. Hold it and I pull up the smart remote feature.)With that being said, if you're looking for a phone that has tons of features for a fraction of a price I would suggest this one the One Plus 3T.
