The KM-1000 SATA mobile rack from Kingwin is the first of four available mobile racks in the KM series. Unlike other versions of mobile storage racks, the KM-1000 consists of a tray for extra stabilization of hard disk drives. It also has screw holes to fasten your hard disk drive, in case you need extra stability for your storage device.

Security is of utmost importance and the KM-1000 has a triangular key lock feature for enhanced security. This feature prevents unauthorized removal of the hard drive from the rack. After fitting your 3.5 HDD or 2.5 SSD into the drive bay, secure your hard drive by locking the mobile rack using the triangular key lock. The hard drive be secure and remain firmly in the mobile rack. Hard disk drives become susceptible when subjected to extreme vibration or PC movements. The KM-1000 mobile rack consists of an aluminum bezel frame, which is anti-vibration. Firmly mount your SATA hard disk within the aluminum frame of the rack to eliminate the risks that come with extreme vibration or PC movements. You can also fasten the hard drive using the screw holes for increased stability.
Easy assembly
Connect your rack to power using the 15-Pin SATA power connector that comes with the KM-1000 mobile rack. Its 7-Pin data signal connector lets you easily access your data through your computer, by allowing faster transfer of data from the hard drive to the computer. KM-1000 has a LED light that indicates if the hard drive is powered on or not. Additionally, it has a HDD activity light that blinks according to the activities of your hard disk drive. Monitor the activity of your hard disk using the power and HDD activity LED light. It also has a LED switch that enables or disables the HDD activity light.
