  • 1Description

Work and play with the Lenovo 14" Flex 4 Series Multi-Touch 2-in-1 Laptop, which features a 360° hinge that lets you use it as a tablet or a notebook. The Flex 4 is armed with a 7th-generation 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5-7200U processor along with 8GB of DDR4 RAM to handle intensive apps smoothly. For visuals, it comes with an integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 chipset that delivers detailed images on the 14" display, which supports a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Windows 10 is installed on an SSD that provides 256GB of storage space and quick access to your music, videos, and files. Additionally, the 14" 10-point touchscreen and Windows 10 enable you to utilize taps, swipes, and gestures for controlling the Lenovo Flex 14 while you're using it in Tablet, Stand, or Tent mode.

This 14" version of the Flex 4 series is lighter and more compact than the Flex 14 with a 15.6" display. This model was designed for frequent travelers and to make the daily commute easier, while providing virtually all the same performance of the larger version.

Lenovo has equipped this Flex 14 notebook with one USB 2.0 port and two USB 3.0 ports for enhancing its capabilities with printers, external storage drives, and scanners. You can also attach an external monitor using its HDMI port for increased productivity. There's also a 4-in-1 media card reader that lets you quickly transfer content from SD, SDHC, SDXC, and MMC memory cards to the Flex 14.

Accessing the Internet or network can be accomplished wirelessly with onboard 802.11ac Wi-Fi, or you can use the Gigabit Ethernet port for a more reliable and stable wired connection. Once connected, you may engage face-to-face conversation by utilizing the built-in webcam, microphone, and speakers. Another notable wireless connection is Bluetooth 4.0, which enables the system to access headsets and speakers. Moreover, the Flex 14 comes with a fingerprint reader, so you can log in without typing a password.

7th-Generation Intel Core i5-7200U Performance
The 7th-generation Intel Core i5-7200U processor features a stock speed of 2.5 GHz and its dual cores can operate at speeds up to 3.1 GHz while running demanding apps.
Storage
The Flex 4 Laptop is armed with a solid-state drive that provides 256GB of storage capacity, fast boot times, and quick access to your data.
Multimedia
The Flex 4 presents pictures, presentations, movies, and more in Full-HD visuals. To complete the multimedia experience, Lenovo has equipped the Flex 4 with stereo speakers and Harman audio technology.
Four Ways to Work and Play
The Lenovo Flex 4 notebook has a 360° hinge that gives you four modes to use: Laptop, Stand, Tent, and Tablet. You can switch effortlessly between them as you tackle your to-do list and make the most of your downtime.

Windows 10

Start Menu
After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8's Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.
Cortana
Microsoft's digital personal assistant, Cortana can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the Internet at large. You can type or even talk with her, if your system has a microphone. Using her Laptop, Cortana keeps track of your needs and wants, and she learns over time to improve her information gathering skills.
Microsoft Edge
After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. It also improves the online reading experience by adding a distraction-free mode and read-it-later functionality. Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser.
Windows Store
For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically.
Windows Continuum
Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface. You can even attach an external monitor to your Windows 10 phone for a near-desktop experience. But it's not just the operating system; Windows Universal Apps take advantage of Continuum as well.
Xbox on Windows 10
Gaming is a big focus of Windows 10. Xbox integration allows for PC players to match up against Xbox One players on supported games, and if you have an Xbox One, you can even stream compatible titles to your PC. Native support for recording with the new Game DVR feature makes it easy to capture and share your gameplay. The new DirectX12 takes better advantage of multi-core processors, giving games a performance boost, even on older hardware. Windows 10 also features native support for virtual reality headsets, such as the Oculus Rift.

    Lenovo 80VD0007US reviews

    14" Flex 4 Series Multi-Touch 2-in-1 Notebook is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast and Perfect I originally bought an Acer 15.6 2-in-1 with an HDD from BB. Returned it the next day because the default config was wrong, causing windows to freeze all the time, plus the slow boot up time (2+mins) and weight, not to mention bloatware (price to pay using Acer) and unclean factory reset (I installed a language pack and after reset it's still there) Then I got this and I have nothing to complain: 1. SSD: super fast. Takes 40 seconds to boot AND load all startup programs. 256GB is enough: one starts with 200GB with win10 installed, more than enough to install all programs. I put my data on an external HDD, so size is not a problem. 2. Windows 10 Signature Edition: =no bloatware! No pre-installed McAfee and other junk, just the (useful) Lenovo settings. On first boot, the first thing it does is Win update, which I highly recommend since it ensures update is successful. 3. Fingerprint sensor: takes less than 1 second to recognise. 4. Lightweight: light for use as a tablet 5. Backlit keyboard: two brightness options 6. Small AC adapter: portable 7. USB 3.0: transfer rate from one external HDD to another averages 100MB/s 8. Lenovo's functional keys: allows to turn off webcam, mic and touchpad, also the battery conservation mode is useful 9. Low RAM usage: usually there are 6GB of RAM free. Some things to point out: 1. Shift key: I usually use my ring/pinky finger to press the right shift key, so I find it not a problem 2. Screen brightness: Maximum brightness not as high as some other laptops. Not a problem indoor but may be for outdoor use 3. Fan: quiet most of the time, but can get loud sometimes (after all it's a laptop) 4. Double-tap right-click on touchpad: someone pointed out that it doesn't work. There's an easy fix by changing a registry entry from 0 (or 4) to 2. Just go to Youtube and search How to Fix - Two finger tap not working on touchpad for right click 5. If you turn off the synaptics tray icon, the setting page can't open. Easy fix: just keep it on 6. Recovery: This Win 10 signature edition does not have the Lenovo OneKey Recovery. But it does have the Windows Push Button Recovery. There's a Windows option to reset to factory settings which re-installs Win and drivers, a feature of signature edition. 7. Turn off everything in Windows Privacy settings, otherwise you send your data to M$ Still giving it a few more days to see the stability, but so far there's not a single problem. I had a Lenovo laptop for 6 years, replaced the HDD and RAMs and still running fine and fast but decided to get a 2-in-1 portable device. This is the perfect choice. Glad to stick to Lenovo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing quality I ordered it online and it arrived before the estimated delivery date. Pleasant surprise! This laptop fits my needs perfectly (intense streaming, writing, researching, all at the same time). I own a Lenovo Ideapad U430 and I wanted a upgrade that wouldn't break the bank. The fingerprint ID feature is cool and makes my Mac friends jealous (and my Windows friends too!). So far, I am not a fan of how my fingerprint smudges are easily noticeable over the keyboard. I find it a bit annoying having to clean it all the time, I'd hardly ever had to it on my IdeaPad. So far, I'm a happy customer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features This was a gift for my son. He is thrilled with it. He wanted something very portable so he could bring it back and forth to school and this Lenovo is small and very light. With the keyboard folded over completely, he can use the touch screen to read and surf the web comfortably so does not need a tablet. With the SSD, it boots lightening fast and he loves the backlit keyboard and fingerprint reader.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oh, yes...!! My wifedecided that her previous laptop (an old Dell netbook) was just too slow for her needs, so it was time to source a replacement. She was originally looking at a couple of laptop models that did not feature touch screens, but I convinced her too look at some 2-in-1 models instead, as the convenience of having a touch screen with a Windows 10 PC would far outweigh any compromises that would have to be made to keep within the price bracket she was considering. After some more investigation, it came down to just two choices - the Dell Inspiron 3000 13.3 or the Lenovo 14 Flex 4. The Lenovo seemed to offer a bit more for the same money (and the Dell website currently lists only Spanish options for us - Grenada is an English-speaking country!), so we ended up purchasing the Lenovo, and we received it today. Based on our initial impressions, we are VERY happy with the purchase. Setup was VERY quick (hint: register and use Microsoft accounts for logon purposes - it makes everything so much easier than managing local accounts on your Windows 10 PCs), and so far theLenovo Flex 4performs very well, particularly considering its price. The screen when off is not as dark as some of the other laptops and tablets I've used (this basically impacts how much contrast you can expect), but OTOH I didn't see any noticeable issues with viewing the screen at different angles. None of this matters to her though as she uses it mostly with spreadsheets and documents, not for imageediting. The laptop itself is lighter than expected for its size (amajor plus for her), and she literally squealed in delight when she realized that shecould log on just by pressing a finger to the fingerprint reader! In conclusion, our first impressions have been very positive. Let's hope that the reliability of the Flex 4 leaves the same impression.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good price and good features... This thanks giving I bought three laptops out of which I selected this one for some very good reasons.. Pros: Good display, touch is responsive, tab mode works really well, backlit keyboard, good speakers, longer battery life. cons: poor keyboard mapping with irregular shift button on right, unable to use Fn keys by default multimedia functions are active, double tab right click does not work unlike dell,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value for money.... I purchased this laptop for my wife a few weeks ago, when she finally got tired of struggling with trying to get work done on the old 10 netbook. I convinced her that she should go with a touchscreen 2-in1 system rather than a standard laptop, and she's very happy with the purchase. The 14 Flex 4 is thin, light for its size, and performs very well. Great value for money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great portable laptop. So far so good. Running great. I've been running it through its paces, leaving it on continuously, watching movies thru the HDMI port, etc. I'm doing this because the first one I bought, from Costco and returned, started blue screening after a month or so. But I liked the performance, form factor & SSD so I bought a replacement from B&H.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great school computer! I bought the computer on sale and I can't believe it was sold at that price. I use it mostly for school and cesual browsing and I'm very statsifed. It is also easy to take everywhere with me and I'm very happy I got it!
