The Saramonic TX-XLR9 is a wireless plug-on transmitter compatible with the UwMic9-RX9 dual-channel camera-mount receiver.
Built with a sturdy metal construction, the TX-XLR9 can be attached to any wired XLR microphone to convert it into a wireless mic.
You can plug a handheld mic for man-on-the-street interviews or a shotgun mic for wireless booming (both types of mics are available separately).
The plug-on provides 48V phantom power, giving you the option to use either a dynamic or a condenser microphone. A locking XLR connector holds the attached microphone firmly in place.

This plug-on transmitter will work with the following system: Saramonic UWMIC9 RX9 + TX9, 96-Channel Digital UHF Wireless Lavalier Mic System (514 to 596 MHz) B&H # SARX9TX9. The Saramonic RX9 receiver is not sold separately.

BH should carry the Saramonic SR-VRM1 plug on unit. The Pre-Amps are VERY quiet, similar to a Tascam DR-100 mark III (which I bought from BH) the SR-VRM1 is NOT a wireless unit. It's a recorder. No wireless issues to worry about. I own 6 of these. Retails for $125US

Will this work with a Sony receiver in the 566 MHz range?
The Saramonic TX-XLR9 Wireless Plug-On Transmitter (514 to 596 MHz) is not compatible with Sony Receivers. Sony receivers are only compatible with Sony transmitters.

Will it peak if I plug a common condenser mic ...
Will it peak if I plug a common condenser mic with +48v? I read the review said there is no input level adjustment so I am hesitating to get this or not to pair up with my existing saramonic a system. Thanks
I have used this transmitter with over a dozen microphones, dynamic and condenser, and I have not had the input overload the transmitter. In fact, our team commonly use it with condenser shotguns for commercial shoots with great results and we've even used it with a large diaphragm studio condenser mic with no issues.
I think if you purchase it, you will be very happy with the sound results and the flexibility it adds. Plus, if you buy it from B&H and you don't like it, you can always return it for a full refund.

No, the new Saramonic UwMic9S components are not backwards compatible with the older UwMic9 series components like the Saramonic TX-XLR9 Wireless Plug-On Transmitter.
