Does this charger work directly from a wall outlet...w/o a cord?
It wont put or the package, but it will if you purchase a 90-degree adapter that plugs into the same slot as the included cord. I did that and it works pretty well. I usually plug it into a power strip, but it also works ok on the wall as well in my case.
