A great choice when looking for a watercolor paper

As stated in previous reviews, the Innova Editions line of papers has a line-up of excellent papers that can be used to print virtually any image with fidelity, excellent Dmax, and great color separation. The Watercolor Rag is a more heavily textured paper than the Fabriano Printmaking Rag. I have used both of the Fabriano papers and have found them perfect for prints that I offer for sale and give as gifts. The Innova ICC profiles provide excellent results in the Epson P800. One suggestion for Innova would be to consider offering their Editions papers in 11x17. If one wants to use one of the Editions papers to print intermediate sized prints then one is forced to cut the 17x22 inch paper in half. Another suggestion would be to consider packing their papers in protective envelopes as Moab, Epson, and some other manufacturers do.

Hello Can I paint with watercolours on the ...

Hello Can I paint with watercolours on the Fabriano rag paper ? It is a good surface to paint on it? Sabrina Garrasi, a watercolour artist, told me that the paper she uses in her paintings is Fabriano rag paper. I am not sure what paper is she referring to. Could you clarify this for me ? To create traditional watercolour paintings you will need to use the original Fabriano watercolour paper. I would think that most arts and craft stores will stock this paper but I believe you can find a list of distributors on the Fabriano website: https://www.fabriano.com The Fabriano papers in the Innova Editions range are coated for inkjet printing so would not be suitable for watercolour painting. However, they may be something to look at again if your customer decides to sell print editions of any of their watercolours: the Innova Editions Fabriano papers share the same base as the original Fabriano papers for traditional watercolour work. This makes them a good option for inkjet reproductions of traditional watercolours originally painted on Fabriano surfaces.
