ZOTAC GTX 1050 Ti overview

  • 1Description

With a compact design and based on NVIDIA's Pascal architecture, the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mini Graphics Card provides major improvements in performance, memory bandwidth, and power efficiency over its predecessor, the Maxwell architecture.

The front panel of the card features a variety of outputs. There are one DisplayPort 1.4 output, one HDMI 2.0b output, and one DVI-D Dual-Link output. The GTX 1050 Ti is not just about high-resolution gaming: Computationally intensive programs can utilize the GPU's 768 cores to accelerate tasks using CUDA or other APIs.

For cooling, ZOTAC features a single 90mm fan with a specially designed aluminum sunflower heatsink. It has direct GPU contact and provides an even distribution of heat from the center to the outer edges.

With Ansel, gamers can compose the gameplay shots they want, pointing the camera in any direction and from any vantage point within a gaming world. They can capture screenshots at up to 32 times the screen resolution, and then zoom in where they choose without losing fidelity. With photo-filters, they can add effects in real-time before taking the shot. And they can capture 360-degree stereo photospheres for viewing in a VR headset or Google Cardboard.
With CUDA, NVIDIA allows applications to hand off CPU-intensive tasks to the GPU. Your GPU is no longer just used for rendering graphics, but it can provide teraflops of floating point performance and accelerate application tasks, from real-time video rendering to fluid dynamics simulation. CUDA is used in many applications and games.
G-SYNC Ready
When used with a monitor that has G-SYNC hardware installed, the monitor's refresh rate will sync and lock with the graphics card's output frame rate. Establishing this sync removes tearing and stuttering which can result from conventional fixed screen refresh rates, especially important for gaming in stereoscopic 3D. An additional benefit of G-SYNC is reduced lag so gamers will benefit from the improved command response time as well.
NVIDIA GPU Boost 3.0
Boosts the card's clock speed in real-time based on the target temperature. If the card is running below the set target temperature, GPU Boost 3.0 will increase the clock speed to improve performance. The target temperature can be reset depending on your preference so you can have the card run more quietly for everyday tasks and older games, and run at full tilt during intense high-resolution gaming sequences.

    ZOTAC GTX 1050 Ti reviews

GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mini Graphics Card is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from No plug in or a new power supply needed, great gaming card. I put these in Dell Optiplex 990s with 8gb DDR3 ram and a 2nd gen i5, it runs almost all game at 1080 resolution and high settings, you don't need a 6 pin power adapter for the card or a new power supply the 265 watt gold Dell power supply does fine. Fantastic performance to price ratio if you can get in the $130 range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Card This was my first attempt at a PC build. I'm coming from and Optiplex 960 with integrated GFX so this is a HUGE step up. Anyway, so far I've been running games like Rocket League and CS:GO with no issues which might not seem like a big deal but is amazing considering the only multilayer I could play with my old systems was MAYBE Awesomenauts. Also, ran LA Noire and Crysis (these were my benchmark titles for testing) with absolutely no issues. The item was shipped before my parts from Amazon and Newegg so I'll be sure to keep checking B&H for new parts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Blender Cycles Dropped right into my home-built Blender Cycles CUDA render farm. The power efficiency-processing power-price ratio is off the charts, and 5 of these running on a Core2 quad salvaged machine pump out 10.6 Teraflops, or as my spell-check wants to call it, Triceratops. This would even be an economical mining card if you are into that sort of thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great main card, totally awesome as a second card I am using the Zotac GTX 1050 Ti mini as a second card in my system to complement a Zotac GTX 1080 mini 8GB. The 1050 Ti alone is a great card by itself, add it as a second card and it is totally awesome. Gaming is on a different level when using a second card that is as powerful as the 1050 Ti. If you are looking for a great and affordable graphics card, the 1050 Ti fits the bill every time. I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Your gonna love it It's a great graphics card for the price. I installed it in a fractal design core 1100 case. The case doesnt have a lot of room. It's mini design fits perfectly, giving you much needed space. I dislike that it drawshould it's power from the motherboard but so far no issues. 5/5

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good budget card This is a great graphics card for anyone on a budget. Plays Overwatch and other well-optimized games on max settings at 60 FPS, and it can play other games at 60 FPS with lower settings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from work smoothly with 6 years old Dell 8500 with core i7 This card replaced my old 2G graphic card which came with Dell 8500. No trouble at installation. It worked smoothly on game Overwatch with the best graphic turned on.
