LensCoat LensHide Reviews

Large funny blanket thing, more portable than a blind

This delivers exactly what it promises, plus you get to feel silly at the same time! It's a good quality blind that's basically a blanket centered on your head with a cut out for your lens, some windows, etc. It absolutely works as a lightweight and portable blind and I've already used it a number of times with great success vs just standing out there in the woods. Much easier than even a lightweight/collapsible blind. FYI, a tripod is pretty much essential, as is a small chair/stool. You could use it standing up, but you'd probably still want at least a monopod.

Great Product

Would it be possible to don this blind over ...

Would it be possible to don this blind over myself with camera and tripod, and then wade into shallow waters, making this a water blind of sorts? I'd really love to be able to photograph waterfowl from as close to eye level (water level) as possible, but don't know if this would be two cumbersome when wet.
Asked by: Jonathan
YEs you would be able to do that with this blind. Though it is not fully waterproof, it is water repellant, so I would just ensure to hang it to dry once you are done shooting for the day.
