This display has a 2560 x 1440 16:9 screen resolution for crisp and clear pictures, along with a 1,000:1 static contrast ratio and a 350 cd/m² brightness rating for darker blacks and brighter bright colors. Furthermore, it has a 10 ms response time for lag-free content reproduction and supports up to 1.07 billion colors. Additionally, with an In-Plane Switching (IPS) display, you'll be able to enjoy wide viewing angles and vivid color reproduction. Connect this display to your system via DVI-D, HDMI, or DisplayPort and then tilt, swivel, and adjust the height to your viewing preference. Otherwise, you can remove the stand and install an optional mounting arm or stand using the 100 x 100mm VESA mounting holes on the back.

Reproduces 99% of the Adobe RGB Color Space
An IPS panel with a wide color gamut reproduces 99% of the Adobe RGB color space, so images shot in RAW can be converted to Adobe RGB or images shot in Adobe RGB will be displayed correctly. The wide color gamut reproduces almost the entire ISO-coated and US web-coated CMYK color spaces used in printing as well as 93% of the DCI used in post-production.
Factory Calibrated
This display's gamma level is pre-calibrated in the factory to deliver smooth color gradations in your images.
Uniformity from Corner to Corner
Equipped with Eizo's patented Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) technology, this monitor ensures that the brightness and chromaticity is even across the whole screen. It also counterbalances the effects from temperature changes on color temperature and brightness for stable image display.
I/P Conversion for Flicker-Free Display
The HDMI input supports I/P (interlace/progressive) conversion for converting interlace signals from TV and video into progressive signals for flicker-free display.
Built-In Carrying Handle
A carrying handle on the back of the monitor allows you to easily move it from one location to another.
ColorNavigator 6 Color Management Software
ColorNavigator 6 lets you easily calibrate your monitor. Simply select your desired presets or assign values and the built-in sensor will use the monitor's look-up-table and create an ICC profile within minutes.

    Eizo CG2730 reviews

    ColorEdge CS2730 27" 16:9 IPS Monitor is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Honest review from a pro photographer/artist... So after spending years with a failing NEC 24 2490WUXi, it was time to upgrade. I hardware calibrate (when possible) with a X-Rite i1 Photo Pro 2 system (not cheap or for the faint of heart), and the NEC while still having perfect luminosity uniformity (+/- 2%), it had rampant color non-uniformity (actually a 300K white balance difference across the screen). Totally unacceptable for any real editing! Additionally, the blacks never got black enough, the panel backlight glow was substantial (blacks looked grey at best), etc. So after a ton of research, and drooling over the prospect of a Eizo CG318 4K monster, comparing to the more-affordable-but-still-far-from-cheap NEC color correct offerings, I decided to take a chance on this not-very-reviewed-yet lesser sibling in the ColorEdge line. Reports of the previous CG vs GX series suggested that they were identical except for the lack of automatic hardware calibration, which I could deal without. The same research and specs suggested that this generation did have some contrast, response time, etc differences, but hey, it was still a ColorEdge - the envy of the color-correction world! It arrived yesterday, and I quickly unboxed it, let it warm up for half an hour or so, and begun calibration. The results (and my ultimate opinion are below)... PROS - hardware calibration using the (free) Color Navigator software from Eizo is an absolute dream compared to using i1 Profiler - for a color-correct monitor, it's physically beautiful (certainly compared to any of the hulking appliances that NEC still makes) - I love the electrostatic touch controls and the menus are less painful than most monitor OSDs - calibrates perfectly with incredible color accuracy (at point of calibration) - luminosity variance is under 2% across the panel (as tested in i1 Profiler) CONS - color variance suffers a bit, at around a 100K difference from left edge to right. I expected a much smaller number... still, it's 3x less bad than the 300 Kelvin difference my dying NEC monitor had. Win? Meh. - IPS-glow - it's no joke, and even with perfect on-axis viewing, the corners glow grey for me (worst is bottom left, followed by top left, bottom left, and finally top right which seems more or less fine). Off axis drops the quality of the blacks considerably, and you get grey at best. I REALLY expected better here from king-of-the-pack Eizo, and this is one of the primary things making me question my purchase and consider a replacement. Does the CG series solve this? I don't know, but it's certainly distracting. CONCLUSION That all said, it's a nice monitor, that calibrates easily and well for a very reasonable price - really an almost un-Eizo-like price! I've heard the latest NEC's have terrible IPS-glow issues as well, so the only place to go from here would be an older Eizo CX series (perhaps) or sell my truck and buy a CG... Anyone need a truck? @kevinrwhitley

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this again if I wasn't retired on a fixed income The Eizo cs2730 does everything I had hoped for. I already owned an xrite i1 calibration tool. Thus the fact that they all played together was a real win. Imagine that, two high tech gadgets from separate vendors that actually work well together. My goal was to get a high quality full RGB gamut review screen. EIZO does that.. I do macro flower photography and always look for some equipment excuse as to why I didn't get what I thought I shot. One more excuse goes by the wayside. I feel good every time I sit in front of this monitor. Another plus, I am currently writing a few thousand lines of Python script. The screen rotation feature makes for a deeper view while doing code development.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great color; Awful screen surface This screen is HIGHLY reflective. After using a no frills Apple Cinema Display forever, this screen was a well deserved step up. HOWEVER, the screen is absurdly reflective, especially in a time where that doesn't need to be the case. Eizo is overtly giving customers a clear reason to spend $1k more on the less reflective screen. I'm not sure I would recommend this monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for photo editing! I bought this to go w/Mac Pro for photo editing. Calibrating W/Spyder5 Elite. Best monitor l've used. Eizo is simply the best for picture editing. Also recommend getting the shade. I've done business W/B&H for 30 years & wouldn't even think of going anywhere else! THX again guys!
