The real-time rendering provided by the Autodesk Flame Workstation from Silverdraft provides digital artists with expanded creativity for visual effects and compositing work. The system is powered by dual 3.0 GHz Intel Xeon E5-2687WV4 processors armed with twelve cores on each CPU, for a total of 24 cores. There is also 30MB of Smart Cache per processor, for a total of 60MB. These processors, cores, and cache will allow you to run multiple applications simultaneously and provide significant performance gains when running multi-threaded tasks. If you need more power, the CPUs can deliver extra performance by increasing the clock speed up to 3.5 GHz utilizing Intel's Turbo Boost 2.0 technology.
