The bus-powered, plug-and-play 56K USB Controller Dial-Up External Fax Modem from US Robotics is designed to support both the V.22 and V.92 protocols for a fast efficient network connection. All of the necessary communications processing power is found inside this USB adapter and it supports most major operating systems including Linux, Windows, Windows Server, and Mac. This external fax modem is designed for a variety of applications including point-of-sale devices and has the ability to screen incoming calls (additional services may be required) and take calls while online without dropping the Internet connection.
