Nitecore NU30 Rechargeable Headlamp is a versatile and extremely easy-to-use headlamp that you will want to take with you anywhere: a field trip, campsite, trail, a backyard, or your garage. The lamp features one main white Cree XP-G2 S3 LED, two auxiliary white LEDs, and two auxiliary red LEDs, flanking the main center emitter. The main Cree LED boasts indisputable quality and 400 lumens of maximum power. It rests inside the proprietary Precision Digital Optics Technology (PDOT) reflector, which produces a 100°-wide collimated beam with a very uniform spot. With the help of two short-range auxiliary white LEDs with a high (≥ 90) Color Rendering Index, you will get a realistic color representation of the illuminated spot. For night photography, astronomy, wild life observations, and the use of night vision devices, you will need to resort to using the two auxiliary red LEDs only, totaling 19 lumens of output that can last for to 13 hours. To provide an ideal angle of illumination for any task, the lamp can be tilted up or down on its bracket for up to 60°. To allow you to use this headlamp anywhere, the polycarbonate housing is waterproof and dust and impact-resistant.
