This black Lens Hood from FUJIFILM is an accessory designed for the XF23mmF2 R WR and XF35mmF2 R WR lenses. Also, the hood protects the lens against impacts, and the lens cap can still be utilized while the lens hood is attached to the lens.

Does this lens hood fit on the 35 mm xc?
Unfortunately it is not compatible with that lens. We do not list a dedicated hood for that lens yet, if you would like we have this generic screw in hood you can use. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/11148-REG/B_W_65069586_43mm_Screw_In_Folding_Rubber.html

question
Is this a different lens hood from the one that ships with the lens? This looks more like the Leica M-style hoods. I just bought an XF23mm f/2 R WR (kit with X-Pro2), and the hood with it seems shorter/shallower, tapering in (instead of out) as it gets further from the front element. Seems like a pretty poor design. If this is different, will it fit on my 23mm f/2 R WR?
Actually, I like the one that comes with the 23/2 better as it does not interfere with the vision through my X-Pro2 OVF --EVF, being TTL is not affected by size of the hood. However, the one that ships with the lens, while totally adequate if you don't add a filter, results too short to really protect from sun hitting the filter, should you add one. This design, while attaching to the exterior bayonet, thanks to its larger size works better. Should replace nicely the one that comes with the 35/2 that screws either to the filter (preferred) or to the lens filter thread directly but accepts a filter to be threaded inside, with the same effect of reducing the hood effectiveness.

question
Can this lens hood be reversed around and clipped onto the bayonet for easy storage like the original lens hood?
No, I tried it just now, and the bayonet mount does not engage the fins on the hood. It falls off.

question
will this lens hood still fit with ND filter or polarizer on the lens?
Yes...the lens hood snaps onto the outer part of the lens, leaving inner threads untouched.
