Made to carry even heavy tripods, the 3" wide Tripod-Carrying Shoulder Strap from Portabrace is constructed of nylon with a waterproof coating as well as nylon loops and plastic clips that firmly wrap around and secure the head and tripod legs. Good Materials. Buckles need to be improved. If you have a heavy tripod, as I do, the straps will have a tendency to loosen, while walking. Suggestion as I did: First use the carrying shoulder strap as instructed. Then walk with your tripod over a carpeted floor. Twice I had to catch my tripod from slipping out of the loops. Returning the product.
I shoot a lot of outdoor stuff. That requires hiking, walking, and sometimes climbing on a hill. This strap gives the option to move hands-free, with more stability and control, it makes my life easier.
