Unfortunately, the SanDisk 128GB Extreme PRO CFast 2.0 Memory Card is not compatible with the Canon 5d Mark IV. That camera accepts CompactFlash or SD cards.

Hi. NO the 5D IV does not use Cfast cards Only CF and SD. the pin config on the Cfast is different on CFast vs CF.
You can buy a 128gb CF card at B&H that can give you 32 mins of 4k recording.

To my knowledge these media cards don't have any firmware. You format them with your camera or recording device so that they will work with that camera or device. These cards will work with different brand cameras. And I read and download the data in them with both PC and MAC computers.
