Axis Communications 9906B001 Overview

The VB-M42 1.3MP PTZ Network Camera, in silver, from Axis Communications features a native 1280 x 960 resolution and 20x optical zoom capability. Combining fast and precise pan/tilt/zoom functionality with the internal Canon DIGIC DV III image processor, the VB-M42 allows you to capture and deliver clear and detailed images of subjects that are in motion.

Offering superior low-light performance, the VB-M42 can be highly relied upon in even low-light conditions. Furthermore, an internal DIGIC Net II processor allows streaming of MJPEG and H.264 codecs in multiple resolutions simultaneously, enabling you to meet more than one user need at the same time. Moreover, the camera offers a variety of on-board video analytics and functions, providing for flexibility with different monitoring needs.

There's an SD card slot for recording, and the camera is also ONVIF 2.4 / Profile S compliant to ensure maximum interoperability with ONVIF Profile S recording systems.

The camera features a 4.7-94mm varifocal lens with a 60.4 to 3.2° field of view, and it supports two-way audio communication for conferencing and other applications.
