  • 1Description

The YN360 Light Wand from Yongnuo is a 22.95 x 1.88" light fixture with a slim profile of just 0.94". The unique Wand has 2 variable color modes. Color Temperature Mode allows you to vary the Kelvin temperature from 3200 to 5500K. RGB Mode yields vivid Reds, Greens, and Blues and combinations of those colors. Meant to be handheld, the Wand has control buttons on the handle to control the color output. Color can also be controlled wirelessly by a smartphone app. A 1/4"-20 female outlet is situated on the bottom of the handle for stand mounting and hands-free operation. The YN360 runs on a separately purchased AC adapter, but it can also be powered by an optional NP-F750. Run time is 2 hours in Color Temperature Mode and 4 hours in RGB Mode.

    Yongnuo YN360 reviews

YN360 Light Wand is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent ! This is an amazing light. The 3200K and 5600K are quite bright and great for direct or bounced lighting. For example @ those settings I can light up a small room (12x15) with 'bounced' lighting quite nicely. When you use the RGB lighting you turn up each light channel individually. So you can turn up R from 0-100, G from 0-100 and B from 0-100. You can run up all 3 to full and you get white again. Great as a background light to give a splash of color. You can even mix the 3200K and 5600K like most other bi-color lights. Build is perfectly fine - it will stand up to your daily workload. So ya just buy it :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome light for the price! This is a great light for no budget filmmaker. I bought two of these and I am very happy with them. Here are the things I like about the YN360s: - very powerful leds - variable white balance - RGB mode which is rarely seen in even more expensive lights - High CRI (although one light differs from another by a small magenta tint, it is barely noticeable) - includes a warm gel - full control via a bluetooth app. Now there are some things that are not a big deal, but could be improved: - The bluetooth app runs smooth but it cannot connect to more than one light - They could have included an AC adapter - A diffuser could also have been included In the end, I totally recommend these LEDs and for the price I consider them to offer a lot of features

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Incredible must have accessory, I bought two! After doing in-depth research on hand held lights I went with Yongnuo. These are fantastic lights that are useful in so many circumstances. The only issue I have is with their iOS app for remote control. Currently you can only control one light instead of multiple, which I believe the app was designed to do. Not a big deal, but enough for a 1 star deduction, until they fix it, then I'll give it five stars. Yonguo really needs to get a better American English website, and refine their iOS apps. Do that and they'll be a very strong value and quality based product that will compete against other large brands easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does Everything Light Wanted something wide and bright, similar to a Wescott Ice Light without the price tag. Did extensive research online and all the reviews of this light came back positive. The price is right on. The light is really really bright. It is bi-color. Also RGB adjustable. Sony battery powered or cable (not included). Extremely mobile. It has one 1/4 - 20 screw mount on the bottom, which can tepidly hold a magic arm, provided it's tight. The light is not too heavy, but it's not featherlight either. You can bounce the light or hit it directly on the talent, and it produces a consistent, flicker free semi soft beam. I highly recommend it. It also tells you the battery power left, which is a dream.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not 3200K. As others have mentioned this is a nice Value and useful and flexible device. How ever, my unit with only the "3200" LED's lit, reads 3680k. And the 5600 reads all the way to 9000K +. The unit is tuneable and I can hit a clean 5600K at almost full power on both the 3200 and 5600 setting combined. I have not used this unit with CTO but I think that will be the answer to knocking this "cool" light down to 3200K Still.. Fun. Cheap. Versatile. Keeping It.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Must Have for Creative Lighting Bought two of these and I'm very impressed with the quality of light and features. Provides a lot of room for professional shots as well as artistic expression. Two of these can also provide an excellent continuous lighting for v-logging video episodes and traveling. The only con is the mobile application that should be able to control multiple lights only controls one and is pretty amateur. I've reached out to Yongnuo and gave them constructive feedback to fix it, hopefully they do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Every photographer I have touch mine buys one, enough said. Every photographer I have let hold one of these has bought one. Do yourself a favor, stop reading and buy it. It's less then $100 and compares favorably to an ICE light 2 ($500). You will thank me. Just buy it already, your only question is how many do you need. I think three is the right number for me. If you need more information then know that I can manually color match to the daylight outside and use it as a fill light instead of carrying around a reflector in anything short of direct sunlight. It's that bright. It's compact; I carry two of them and a few extra batteries in a cloth tripod case (the case it came with is rubbish). The light it puts off is already very soft but if you are like me and want to get it even more diffuse then you can tape some cheap rice paper over the light and it will look just as good as anything on the market. I shove my ricepaper covered lights into and out of a tight cloth case and the rice paper lasted 4 shoots before it started showing any ware and tear. The batteries are cheap, buy a ton of them and a charger that lets you charge a few at a time. The RGB is great but not very bright. You manually control the intensity of each color red, green, blue, separately. I use the app to find the color I want and then manually adjust the second light to match the first as the phone app will only control one light at a time. I'm probably going to buy a few more of these in the future. I can't imagine shooting portraits on location without them.
