Bought this to use as an adjustable astronomy stool. Very happy with the product. Well built and solid, easy to adjust height and secure when adjusted. Extremely light weight yet all metal built frame and hinge points. The stool is well padded and very comfortable for extended sitting times. Quality product and would recommend.

The Tama HT130 thrones are fine for my purpose. I used the bases along with some Tama gear that is no longer produced for the bases for some 12 and 14 inch Roto toms in a travel kit setup. See attached pics.
