In addition to its bold double-cutaway design and black finish, the LTD F-10 boasts a basswood body and 25.5" scale bolt-on maple neck. The neck features a rosewood fingerboard with a 13.78" radius, 24 extra-jumbo frets, and has a thin U neck contour. For electronics, this guitar is outfitted with two humbucking pickups—a single-coil sized LSH-100N with double rails in the neck position, and a full-sized LH-100B with traditional pole pieces in the bridge position. For increased sustain, strings attach through the back of the body and are intonated with a tune-o-matic bridge.
The IK Multimedia iRig HD 2 allows you to connect the guitar to your iOS device, Mac, or PC computer, giving you the ability to record digital audio. It also includes Amplitube 4 software, which models a multitude of amplifiers, cabinets, and stompboxes, thus offering you a wide assortment of tones and textures to use in your recording. This software can be implemented in most DAWs and also works in standalone, providing a variety of recording options. Of course, you'll want to make sure your guitar retains its luster, and for that, the maintenance care pack will come in handy.
