  • 1Description

Simplify your setup with the compact and wireless LaserJet Pro M102w Monochrome Laser Printer from HP for rapidly creating sharp documents at up to 23 ppm with a first print out speed of 7.3 seconds. The quality comes from FastRes technology, which can boost the 600 x 600 dpi resolution to effectively 1200 dpi. Also, it features both a 150-sheet input tray and a 10-sheet priority slot for handling media from 3 x 5" to 8.5 x 14". Bumping up the usability is the implementation of Wi-Fi, in addition to USB 2.0, for connecting directly to computers and mobile devices. Additionally, it features a simple button LED control panel and features a monthly duty cycle of 10,000 pages.

HP Auto-On/Auto-Off Technology will help save energy when the printer is not in use.

    HP M102w reviews

LaserJet Pro M102w Monochrome Laser Printer is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not up to snuff I purchased the M102 to replace my P1102. The M102 is dog compared to P1102, slow and stops during print jobs. P1102 was a champ like all the other HP printers I have purchased over the years (11+). Not so much with the M102. I purchased the M102 because it was touted as a professional grade printer. It does not match my old P1102, which was a personal printer. A very substandard HP product. I have never been unhappy with and HP printer in the past, including the 5th All In One we purchased last month.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Goes Back I have to turn the Printer Off/On every time I need to print. It looses it's WIFI connectivity after a couple of hours being connected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid inexpensive B&W wireless laser printer A bit quirky to set up. Use the HP "Print and Scan Doctor" application available at this printer's support web location. Also update the firmware, through the USB connection preferably. Has a toner and drum like the more expensive HPs. Toner does NOT need to be pulled out and 'uncovered' of any plastic strips. It is ready to go as shipped. Manual double-sided printing is easier than most as it has a slot just above the front paper tray (which has a handy cover to keep the dust off your paper). All-in-all a solid, small footprint, fast home-office printer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Noisy and semi-functional It sounds like it is grinding glass when it prints. I thought something was wrong when I bought it and brought it back to the store. They replaced it -- but the replacement also makes the same noise. It sounds like something is breaking inside the printer. It is also very temperamental and sometimes prints, but sometimes only prints the first 1/3 of the page and then restarts to print the whole thing. I had the earlier version of this printer and I loved it -- but this model is definitely not an improvement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice fast home printer Easy to set up and install, doesn't take up much space, prints fast (not quite as fast as an office printer though). Quality of print is sharp and it stays online for me all the time except when I unplug it and plug it back in if I have to move it to another room - but then just push a button and your back online quickly. I have not had any issues as the other reviews suggest. However, I also bought a new HP laptop a month before I got this printer. I had issues with my old laptop (7years old) and new printers. I really like this printer for heavier home printing and would recommend it to my friends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great printer for individual use this printer is great for individual use at home or at the office. not too big and not too small. Has a tray for letterhead or envelopes. great value - highly recommended .

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good when it works I bought 17 of these printers for my school to replace old Dell 1700 laserjets. The lack of an ethernet port was accidentally overlooked, but we had refreshed the wifi system, so we moved forward with the m102w. The printers don't have an option to shut the sleep mode off, and sometimes didn't wake properly. A firmware update seems to have helped it to a degree, but the response is usually to turn the wifi back on or restart the printer. One unit recently decided to start shredding the right side of anything it printed. Been a big fan of HP, but this one misses the mark.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Little Laser for the Money While lacking some features like copy & scan, this does exactly what I need it to do. Small size is very convenient. Had it communicating with all my computers, tablets, and phones in minutes.
